Boosting Arktastic's K-Beauty Sales
Hey there, I'm Shaker Adnan, a Google Ads specialist with years of hands-on experience helping e-commerce brands grow. I've worked with businesses like Arktastic, an Australian online store that sells top Korean skincare and beauty products. They offer everything from cleansers to masks, all backed by expert tips and AI routines. When Arktastic came to me, their ads were not performing well. Let me share this real story from my work with them. It's based on what I saw and did over the months.
Before My Work (April 10, 2024)
Before I stepped in, Arktastic's Google Ads were just starting out but not getting results. From April 10, 2024, to a short early period, the dashboard showed zero progress. The graphs were flat. No ups, just a straight line. Their ads were not reaching the right people interested in K-beauty. As someone who's managed ads for similar stores, I knew this was common for new setups without tweaks.
- Conversions: 0.00 (No sales or leads from ads)
- Clicks: Only 4 (Hardly any traffic)
- Actual ROAS (Return on Ad Spend): 0.00% (No return at all)
- Cost: $1.91 (Low spend, but no value)
After My Work (April 2024 – October 19, 2025)
After I took over and applied my strategies, things changed fast. We scaled the budget smartly and focused on what works. The charts showed steady growth with peaks during key seasons. Conversions climbed in blue, clicks in red, and ROAS in yellow stayed high. This meant Arktastic sold more Korean skincare products without wasting money.
Strategy Implemented:
- Keyword Research and Setup: I dug into searches like "Korean skincare Australia" and "best K-beauty products." I added long-tail keywords to target buyers ready to purchase. I avoided broad terms that burn cash.
- Campaign Restructuring: Switched to Performance Max campaigns. These use Google's AI to show ads across Search, Display, YouTube, and Shopping. I set up smart bidding for max conversions.
- Ad Copy and Creative Optimization: Wrote fresh ad copies that spoke to K-beauty fans. Things like "Get Glowing Skin with Authentic Korean Products – Shop Now!" I tested images of popular items like sheet masks and serums.
- Audience Targeting: Focused on women aged 18-45 in Australia interested in beauty. I used remarketing to bring back site visitors. Also, excluded low performers to save budget.
- Bid Adjustments and Budget Scaling: Started small, then increased spend as ROAS improved. I monitored daily and adjusted bids based on device, location, and time.
- A/B Testing and Analytics: Ran tests on headlines, descriptions, and landing pages. Used Google Analytics to track what drove sales. Fixed issues like slow page loads that hurt conversions.
- Ongoing Monitoring: Checked the account weekly. Added negative keywords to block bad traffic. During holidays, I boosted budgets for trends like "holiday skincare gifts."
Results Achieved:
📊 Full Campaign Performance (April 2024 – October 19, 2025):
7,660 conversions (A huge jump in sales and sign-ups)
126,000 clicks (Way more targeted visitors)
Actual ROAS: 630.47% (For every dollar spent, they got over $6 back)
Ad Spend Managed: $101,000 (Invested wisely for big returns)
Summary: Key Lessons and Impact
In short, Arktastic went from zero results to a thriving ad setup with 630% ROAS. They spent $101K but gained way more in sales. This case shows how proper Google Ads management can transform a business. If you're running an online store like K-beauty or similar, focus on targeted keywords, smart campaigns, and constant tests. It's not magic – it's strategy from real experience.
